Andy Cloke Blog Post

Andy Cloke has started 2 indie SaaS business in the past few years (Influence Grid & Data Fetcher), both surpassing $3k MRR and the first selling for $55k. He's got a framework for how to find an idea, build the product, get validation and then scale with marketing. Andy is a developer by trade but has used his side projects to learn new skills and get better at marketing, which has worked a treat.

Andy Cloke Intro

Andy Cloke is the founder of Data Fetcher, a platform for running API requests in Airtable, which is currently doing around $3k MRR. Andy has started many projects in the past, his most recent one, Influence Grid, was sold for $55k back in mid-2020, having only started it 7 months before. This is another episode with 2 recordings, as Andy grew Data Fetcher from $800 MRR to $3k in just a few short months. Throughout this episode we talk about his framework for finding trending ideas, building a product and being successful with marketing as a developer. We also talk about the process of selling your product and how to make that go smoothly.

As Andy knows well, listening to user feedback can help understand the pain points of your users and have them continue to love your product.
